Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Birdene apps for iOS and Android and the web version at birdene.com. By creating an account or using Birdene, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. "We" and "us" mean Birdene and the developer who runs it.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Birdene.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your password to yourself.
• You can deactivate or delete your account at any time in the app's settings.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

Birdene has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, send, or put in your profile:

• spam, fake engagement or repetitive posting;
• scams, fraud, or fake investment or financial schemes;
• harassment, bullying or targeted abuse;
• hateful content that attacks people for who they are;
• threats of violence, or content that glorifies violence;
• sexually explicit content, or anything that sexualises minors;
• other adult or graphic photos or videos, unless you mark them as sensitive;
• content that encourages suicide or self-harm;
• offers of illegal goods or services, or anything else that breaks the law;
• other people's private information, such as their address, phone number or documents, without their permission;
• content that pretends to be someone else, or an offensive name, bio, profile photo or cover;
• content you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's copyrighted work.

Reports, blocking and what we do

• You can report any post, message or account in the app, and block or mute anyone.
• Our moderators review reports and act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours: they remove the content and, where it is warranted, restrict or remove the account that posted it.
• Breaking these rules earns a strike. The first is a warning; the second makes the account read-only for 24 hours, the third for 7 days, and the fourth suspends it. Strikes expire after 90 days. Serious violations can lead to suspension at once.
• We may also remove content, limit how widely it is shown, or suspend an account when we believe it is needed to protect people or Birdene, even if no one reported it.
• You can appeal a decision about your account in the app.

What you post

You keep the rights to what you post. By posting it, you let us store, show and distribute it in Birdene, and in the links and previews shared from it, so that Birdene can work. Public posts and profiles can be seen by anyone, as the Privacy Policy explains. You are responsible for what you post and send.

Rates, prices and estimates

Exchange rates, Central Bank rates, real estate prices and estimates in Birdene come from banks, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and public listings. They are for information only: they can be late, incomplete or wrong, and they are not financial, investment or legal advice. Check with the bank or the seller before you act on them.

Other people's content and links

Posts, messages and links come from other people and other websites. We don't check them before they appear and we are not responsible for them, but we act on them as described above.

Using Birdene fairly

Don't try to break, overload or get around Birdene's security or limits, collect its data in bulk, or use it to send unwanted messages.

No warranty

Birdene is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and its information accurate, but we can't promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that what it shows is correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using Birdene or relying on what it shows.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we may also tell you in the app. Using Birdene after a change means you accept the new terms.
